At last a new album from John Cooper Clarke- admittedly only archive recordings but nonetheless of interest to all his fans. These archive recordings from the period when John Cooper Clarke was managed by Rabid ( Anthony Ryan Carter, Laurence Beedle and Martin Hannett) show JCC at his most incisive, witty and creative. Martin Hannett would often just put a microphone in a room where JCC was holding a conversation and record the witty banter or Martin would turn up and record one of JCCs live perform-ances. The Rabid/Hannett archive contains hours of fly on the wall recordings of The Bard of Salford- enjoy this instalment.
