Circle of Birds - Circle of Birds ((CD))

'Circle of Birds is a combined effort between Johnathon Ford (Unwed Sailor, Roadside Monument), Burnt Toast Vinyl recording artist Ester Drang, and Oklahoma country band Lasso. All three bands are origianally from the Broken Arrow/Tulsa region of Oklahoma. This self-titled release was recorded in 48 hours in a practice room at the University of Tulsa, capturing the improvisational efforts of all involved. The recordings were mixed in Seattle by Pedro The Lion's David Bazan and Johnathon Ford and resulting in a spectactular instrumental EP that is highly melodic, cinematic, and fragile.
