While he doesn't echo the sounds of Album Leaf's ambient pop, Andrews does share a similarly low-key, reflective approach to music-making. ONLY MIRRORS is ultimately more of a singer/songwriter album than anything; Andrews's soft voice and low-key delivery float above a mellow mixture of acoustic guitars and almost pastoral-sounding electronics, creating a warm atmosphere that's poignant without ever becoming cloying.
